Getting to Craobh Haven

Craobh Haven is located around 2 miles from the A816, along a minor road signposted Craobh Haven, Craobh Marina and Lunga Estate. It sits roughly halfway between Oban and Lochgilphead on Scotland’s west coast.

By Car

Craobh Haven is approximately 2½ hours from Glasgow by car.

You can travel either:

• Via Inveraray: Take the A82 and A83 to Inveraray and Lochgilphead, then continue 17 miles north on the A816.
• Via Oban: Take the A82 to Crianlarich and Tyndrum, then the A85 to Oban, followed by 22 miles south on the A816 (see the location map below).

By Train

The nearest railway station is Oban, approximately 20 miles north of Craobh Haven. From there, you can continue your journey by taxi or local bus.

By Bus

Most long-distance bus services terminate at Oban or Lochgilphead.

The local bus service between Oban and Lochgilphead runs three to four times daily along the A816. There is also one daily service that continues into Craobh Haven village itself (the school bus).
